They wear for fun - I wouldn't bother with a second hand one, even if usable it's life is limited.

Yeah my chain snapped and snapped the clutch push rod and damaged a few other bits. Clutch release needed replacing before-hand though as it was quite worn so going to do it whilst fixing all the other bits.
