Default Seat cowl fittings?

Hi all, new rider and new to this site.
This is my first post,I've mostly been reading posts but now I need a bit of help.

I recently bought a seat cowl for my sv650s 1999,the cowl had no fittings with it.now having a look I assume the fittings are similar to what is on the rear seat.i took off the rear seat fittings and placed them on the cowl only to find out that it's to short and to a slight angel.so I am guessing I need spacers?

Anyone know what size spacers or where I can get some.not really sure what I am looking for.

Thanks a million...and I look forward to posting more!

Oh another thing....I replaced my stock indicaters with some fancy posh flush ones but they blink faster than normal.how do I slow them down?

Id get indy spacers and remove the flush mounts. You need a relay as they ar led . But the flush mount cant been seen by others . Id get proper indicators

Indy spacers...flush mounts? I assume your talking about the indicators? These are not a problem,as when I removed old indicaters there were screw hols from where flush ones were there before.so I just reused the old holes....and I need a relay then,I think I've sen these in cable form on fleabay!
Cheers

U can buy spacers that fit in the hole where the original indicators were . I wouldnt use flush mount cause people cant see them . Indicator spacers and some diamond indicators are better . No resisters, less wires . Just bulbs to make life easy

To slow the flash rate down you need a resistor in parallel to the indicator, not a relay.

As far as i know there is no rule on where or what your front indicators have to be like. But if they flash too fast you will fail for that.

Thats cool man, but if someone who doesnt know what they are doing reads that and believes it they will waste their money and everyone will laugh at them when they complain that their relay didnt fix the indicators
