Hi guys
Fitted a new chain to my bike tonight and was really surprised to find no instructions when I opened my tsubaki x ring alpha to find no instructions! I have fitted it ok but not sure how much I should press when spreading the rivet. I was expecting a torque setting. Does it look like it's spread enough. Maybe someone knows the torque. I Googled like a champ but no luck. Cheers Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk 2 |

that's well enough, the riveted over bit only holds the sideplate in place, so just enough to prevent it coming off is fine.

Why would you expect instructions?
When you buy just about any part for your bike there's no instructions.

If I was in chain business I would not sell them with instructions. If you have to ask...
(Except I'd put a warning on that gold chains cannot be fitted to gold sprockets. ![]() No point having torque settings, not all chain rivetters have same pitch thread etc.

Understand now about the torque issues. Makes sense with tools etc.
Only worry was not spreading the rivet enough but guess it's ok since no one is screaming its dangerous! Apart from that no concerns And it's all about the bling with gold! Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk 2 |

Draper 31318 Expert Chain Splitter and Riveter Kit
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004L6DUV..._am_gb?ie=UTF8 Had this from my mountain bike and although it says upto 520 I had no issues with 525. I did grind the head down before pushing the old pin out though. Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk 2 |
