Hi,

A daft question what is best to lubricate motorcycle chain with - Grease or Oil?

Neither, unless you're using a scott oiler, which uses oil, but on a limited drip feed. You could paint oil onto the chain, but it would get flung off real quick

Chain wax or chain lube is what you need.

Halfrauds sell Castrol chain wax, which I've found to be good, lasts well and doesn't fling off.

Otherws will have their own preference
