Default Additional Padding/Armour?

Does anyone wear any additional padding or armour under their padded clothing/leathers? ona bit of a safety mission after a friend had a nasty accident. Wondered what people's thoughts were and what they were wearing. Everything about seems to be motoX orientated and wouldn't fit under my leathers...

KNOX back protector under my jacket.
As long as you are wearing either leather or textiles with CE armour, back, shoulder, elbows, hips knees.
Decent boots and gloves. thats about all you can do.

The Knox seems to be a popular choice.
Sadly I cant be bothered with anything further than standard gear, I find putting that on and taking it off 2-3times a day enough of a chor as it is. All I do is try to make sure my gear fits right and is in good condition that way I've done as much as is reasonable.
Only thing I could do with improving is my gloves, I've worn MX gloves this last week and they wont last seconds in a slide.

I'm going to purchase a back protector soon. Well the sensible side of me wants to.

The other part of me wants to get a Fuel exhaust first

Forcefield is the way to go.

Armour under Armour sounds like a good ide, but the restriction on movement may be too much of a cost to pay for unknown benefits.

Better to have one layer of the best stuff that fist properly in the right places and wont move around than multiple layers that may actually make things worse I think.

+1 although I prefer its fits properly as opposed to having a "fist properly in the right places".

FYI David thats just a typo so doesnt count, still 2-1 to you.

I wear an Alpinestars track protection vest. Good fit and comfortable, I like it.

it seemed yesterday that even full length cotton sleeves was a bit of an ask...., unless I've missed out on some sort of kevlar skin cream that they all must be wearing

Got to say I might have been hot, but I couldn't ride in shorts & a vest.

Cheers Mark.

Cheers folks. I'm happy enought with the padded leathers etc that I've got. Just mindful that my chest and back are very vulnerable by comparison. I'll have a shop around!!
