Default Pointy clock set on a Curvy?

Mounting brackets aside, I know these will be different. I'm good with electrics but is it just a simple change the wires over kind of job, or is there more wires in pointy clocks for more things?, electric pick up for the speedo rather than cable?

Curvy speedo works fine.
Tacho needs fancy transistor circuit to make work, fuel light needs some power resistors and fettling.

You will also always have FI warning on LCD bit, but oil light still works. Temp will not.

Ahh knackers a bit more than I wanted, been offered a naked to do up and sell. Just thought it might be the easy option as there's no clocks on it. Don't have any naked clocks do you, as I see you also tamper with Sv's by your signature?

Had thought I'd heard that before when I was building my minitwin, I ended out with a kwak clock in the end for £2 ebay bargin. I'll have a look at those clocks, are they easier fitment?

Pointy is probably easier, you need speedo healer with GSXR clock

I've got a set of naked clocks but the tach isn't working and there's a scrape on the cover. The tach went when my reg/rec failed - I've replaced an obviously blown resistor and it's still not working so not sure if it is repairable. If it's any interest I can get a pic of the scrape.
