Pointy regulator fit Curvy? Again

does any one know if a pointy reg/rec will fit a curvy

Yes, but you will have to do some rewiring. Not a very good picture, but this is how I did mine.

I searched this forum recently for this question. I've now done it, however I ran another peice of twin core wire from the 4pin plug on the pointy to the battery, as I didnt like putting 4 thick wires onto 2 not very thick wires.

thanks for the reply, I did try searching but as it only had 10 min left on ebay I needed a quick answer.

so it looks like you just cut the plug of and swap them for the curvy plugs ?

Basically, yes. The 3 similar coloured wires match with the yellow curvy wires from the alternator, then I think it was the 2 black & white, go to single black & white on curvy, then red & black to red & black.
