Default Oil level and gearchange?

Im running mine at around the max, should i be just below it? Sticky gears issue so im going to grease the gear lever, adjust the clutch mech today & possibly consider ordering a new cable in case its stretched.

Thought i would ask as im considering lowering it by loosening the oil filter.

I thought the oil level should be between min and max when the bike is held upright on level ground?

Max is just that and Min is well that. as long as its between min-max and not over the max then all is fine.

have you thought that it might be you not dropping/raising your foot properly between shifts... try changing gear then move your foot sideways or dropping/raising away from leaver and see how you get on. if you have no more sticky gears then bingo.
