Default Fork crash bobbin fitment?

Has any one ever fitted crash bungs to the front forks? Brought this set of eBay because I thought it would give better protection, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUZUKI-SV6...ht_1141wt_1139
Unfortunately I can't see how to fit the front bobbins, and after a couple of emails to the seller still no answer? Any advice appreciated.

Default Re: Fork crash bobbin fitment?

Most of this type have a bar that goes through the hollow front axel as found on most sports bikes, and a nut on each end.

As the SV doesn't have a hollow axel, you'd need a replacement axel or some additional fittings I suspect, but I've not seen a set like this fitted
