Default Evotech v's Hamicad tail tidy

Hi All,

Just got a bonus at work...gonna buy a tail tidy.

Reading through some threads, these 2 seem to be well respected.

Could anyone give me a clue which way to go?

Cheers,
Mabbsy.

I suppose it goes on how you want your bike to look and how much you have to spend. Lucky for some, my place do not give out bonuses. I am also after a tail tidy so I am also interested in what people have to say and whether anyone has one for sale?

For the sake of £20, I'm not too bothered about the price....I just want to make sure I get the best I can.

The evotech pics in their web site isn't great, so difficult to compare to Hamicad in that respect.

I'm not keen on the R&G ones....heard that they're not the best quality. Unless someone knows otherwise?

I fitted the Hamicad to my SK9.

its a bit pricey now at £66 including delivery but it fits great and looks great IMO. You have to take the rear plastics off to reveal the subframe. It uses the standard indies and rear number plate light. Takes about 2 hours to fit but its pretty easy and the instructions are clear just remember the cable routing for the lights and be sure to attach an check the rear seat release mechanism before putting the seat/cowl back on

Cheers for your replies fellas....just been online and ordered myself a Hamicad.

Can't wait to get it on the bike now. The OE really spoils the bike and has been on toooooo long.

I've seen some tail tidies on pointies over the last week but want to keep the standard indicator lenses. Now I know the Hamicad one uses stock ones I'm keen to investigate further. Thanks!
