Bearings are a consumable I believe.

Now if only Suzuki would invest in more than one tub of grease a year for the factory.

I believe your correct in that, mind you it would still be worth a good moan at the dealers.

That's generous, I always thought the whole Jap bike industry had one tin of grease per year & they shared it!

Cheers

defo speak to the dealer as bearings should last way longer than 4500 miles or 1 year, consumables or not

would be surprised if they were not replaced under warranty

Not that generous - they buy one tin and divide it into individual tubs - Mr Suzuki has a smaller tub than the others however.

I would hope that to be the case also, but was just preparing the OP for the worst.

And pre-empting the "Stupid Suzuki Warranty Exclusions" thread

well i've to pop in with the bike for them to have a look.. so if they do the bearings then that will be, so far under warranty claims a new top faring, lambda sensor and the swingarm bearings within 1 year...

i wouldn't mind if the bearings were only a couple of pounds, but for the two of them it comes to £154 from Robinsons.. thats including the spacer's and tube..

if they do a warranty they will be getting told to grease the blooody things.
