Bling clutch lever doesn't fit Curvy.

Hi guys I bought a set of Chinese levers seeing as they got good reports on the forum. The brake fits on perfectly but the clutch is way off.

It seems teh clutch lever is double the thickness of the perch.

I had this before when a breaker gave me a lever off an old SV and that lever never fitted in either.

My question is does anyone know what perch I'm looking for from what bike and year?

She's a 2003 bikini curvy, Inside of Perch 9mm thickness of lever 14mm

Just measured mine and the lever is just over 7mm or thereabouts where it fits in the bracket.

Sounds like he's sent you the wrong lever. Either that or you're trying to fit the brake lever on the clutch side (the brake lever fitting is about double the size of the clutch) but that seems unlikely.

hhhmmm is it possible that you have the wrong perch for the leavers. 2 counts cant be wrong can they.

Definetly the clutch lever even has the cutouts for the cable.. and the other one is fitted to teh brake side.

I tried searching there.. but it seems i got wrong levers...

Im with Bibio, sounds like you have a non SV perch fitted to the bike if 2 SV levers havent fitted. I can happen, i had a 600RR clutch lever assembly fitted to my 600F. ight be worth posting a picture up?

Went to a breakers showed him the lever straight away he said
"that's a honda lever"

The only reason I got the bling was I broke the old one!

Best bet would be to pick up a SV perch from the bay. I changed mine as I had put the RR master cylinder on so matched the clutch so I could get aftermarket levers.
