Which bike next?

Cmon guys give me some opinions here...

Will be used for all sorts of riding, but as I travel a bit for the longer rideouts/tours it must be practical-ish/comfortable on longer rides. i.e euro tour

Wont be buying new - looking at carelesschucca's model triple or christopher's gsxr model. Cant remember what year models they are, I cant even remember how old I am.

Looking for info/opinion on things like cost of owership, replacement parts, yada yada.

Pros for triple:
-slow me down on straight lines (license, life)
-more leverage for tight twisties

pros for gsxr's:
-look sexy as hell
-love the howling il4 noise (like the triple's on arrow's but not as much)
-more trackable? Although I dont do loads of TD's anyway.
Not test rode any yet but will be doing so soon.

PS Dont try to convince me to keep the SV please. We've fallen out. Thanks.

Each has its own characteristics but you will find the triple nearer the SV in regard to engine torque and braking. Smaller cc IL4 have to be kept on the boil to attain the same results that are easier to achieve with a triple.

Go and have test rides before you part with your cash

Oh certainly, I will test ride all before I choose. But just wanted a wider audience of opinions as the SV is the only bike I have ever owned and perhaps I'm not thinking of things others would

GSR 750.
Looks sexy .fast but no faring so you know your doing the national limit .
Comfy compared to a Gixer .
Stick a pipe on it so your be heard round the twisties .

Another consideration is that I can fit on the GSXR without modifying seat height, Triple I can fit on my lowering with standard shock.

DOnt want to be messing around with lowering kits etc if I can help it. Seat height on specs can be deceiving as it doesn't say how wide the seat is etc, or body position.

Another plus is slipper clutch (k6-7) on the gsxr as standard.

Must also mention I'm looking at the triple r not standard.

Hong, I doubt you'll be able to lower the GSXR far enough so you can safely flat foot. No offence intended

I'm with the rabble and saying GSR or Street trip as they do a low seat as a factory option. Left field (but will slow you down slightly) would be the current KTM Duke if you can afford new prices
