Does anyone have and original stock curvy exhaust, need to be able to fit it back to my bike using the re-connection sleeve.

I need both but I can get the coupler easily, people want silly money for used stock cans on ebay, most are collection only as well and miles away from where I live.

I have 5-6 curvy and pointy ones around at any given time in varying conditions from brand new to being beat to hell, you're welcome to one of those if you want it for free.

but then if the "silly money" is more than say £20, I'd invest that money in a tank of juice and have a 90 mile round trip ride effectively for free and say to myself the can cost the £20 and the fuel was free, good excuse for a ride. so Collection only, not offended if you don't take me up on it though. Cheers Mark.

Cheers Rictus, when i say sill money I'm talking £50-£60 quid for a used one.
I understand your not willing to post etc but if I did have one off you would you be willing to package it up and I will arrange for a courier to collect from wherever is convenient for you? |

well I've just looked in the front garden and I have both a curvy and pointy one there, so could probably do that, but if it'd been down the shed then would have said no, that's effort for me these days, might even have some bubble wrap or something around somewhere.
Cheers Mark.

Brilliant, can I take a curvy one in decent nick please.
Let me know when you have it packaged and let me know your address (PM obviously) and I will arrange for a courier to collect. I will need to know rough dimensions of the packaged can too. Thanks again Rictus. |

Haha, no, what you can have is the one in the front garden, I'm prepared to pack/box and seal it for you, as to when I can find the time to hang around for it to be collected, I'll have to see, but I suspect one of my non walking days would be best, measurements I can do when packing, any curvy can is going to be at least 10 years old, I think this one has a couple of light scratches down it, but I can't see from here, but I'll lay good money it's not perfect, I'll have a look later, you do know they aren't light these OEM cans?
Cheers Mark.

No worries Mark, just let me know when you have time to be around for collection. Not fussed about a few marks tbh.
I am after it because I can't seem to find an aftermarket can that doesn't wake up all my kids when I leave for work in the morning, the one I have is the quietest I've found but still loud, I thought std would be best way to go. Not fussed about weight or looks to be honest. |
