Angry Bloody Weather!

Well what a wonderful afternoon, came home from work, wife informs me my new rear brake pads have arrived, went outside looked up, "yeah I've got time to do this" (thought I'd do it in the driveway as my garage is a couple of streets away),

So removed caliper and old pads, removed top from reservoir to push pistons back in.........would they budge?......... would they hell!

Seals were knackered, so rang around to find some, popped out...got home....oh dear weather closing in, so hastily repaired caliper in the kitchen (the wife is still not happy with that),

Went back outside to fit and bleed.........It's feckin rainin'........yeah thats right top not on the reservoir......now full of water.....feck!.....oh well nothing for it, retreat to dining room for cigarette.......rain stops.......I dash outside drain the system, flush it through to remove all water..........

Re-fitted the caliper with shiny new pads......begin bleeding.......the heavens open......."bugger"........thinking will be done in minutes few so carry on regardless..........5mins brakes are still spongy.......another 5mins and a sense of humour failure later air bubble finally disloged, brakes good to go.....but alas....on the Ace you have to remove right rear plastics to get to the reservoir..........

So now the Ace is in one piece with new rear pads and I'm bloody drenched...what makes it worse is the rain stopped and the sun came out the second I finished........

Bloody Weather!!!!

You need a garage, or at least a big shed.
