Default Pick your brains on best alarm / imob for curvy?

Hi All,

Its been many years since I last posted anything.

My old curvy (now with GF) had a Laserline alarm/imob on it since new (2002). It blew up in fantastic style that meant the whole bike was dead. After a lot of fault finding it came down to the main unit. I sent that away to a repair specialist but he said that the internal battery had exploded and destroyed most of the motherboard making a repair not possible.

We can not track down a replacement, but I do want an Cat 1 Alarm / Imob put on the bike.

I really dont have the time to do any deep research as I am working abroad, so can anyone recommend what the best is on the market in 2012?

I guess I will be looking at a few hundred quid but to be honest I dont think I will ever let the curvy go (Black one so its the fastest type of all models over the years ), as its worth so little and I still enjoy the odd blast on a bike that you can actully twist the go faster handle all the to stop and not think either 'bye bye life' or 'bye bye license'.

Cheers
