Hi all,
Can I get some tips on how to correctly drill some small holes in the fairing of my curvy? It's for fitting flush mounted indicators but I want to make sure I don't crack it or anything. Many thanks, Liam |

i use a rotary tool (dremmel) and a cone grinding bit and widen the hole till it fits the bolt.

Definitely one (good) way to do it. The alternative (for someone without a rotary tool) would be to use a number of drills and slowly step up. Timber drills work well - since they have their 'teeth' on the outer edges and are designed for a clean cut.

Put masking tape on and drill through that so you can mark up without damaging the fairing. As above use a small bit and work upto the correct size and don't press on too hard
