Default play in the rear shock

I have recently noticed there is play in the rear shock on my sl0 650 which im not very impressed at since its only 2 years old.
It seems to be the top (frame end) of the shock, just wondered if any one else has had this sort of trouble? if so what did you do? new bushes, or new shock?

define play? the shock doesn't sit solid at any mounting point, it does have some movement (side to side/twisting)

With the back of the bike in the air, you can feel play when you move the swing arm up and down. or if its on the ground, just by lifting the back of the bike you can feel it.

welcome to the wonderful world of suzuki bearings. don't worry they are all like that is the response you will get from suzuki.

yes they go click, click up and down and side to side. pop it on an abba stand and have a real good laugh.

i've just replaced all 3 monoshock linkage bearings and the bearings in the upper dog leg mount (located on the swingarm)
Take weight off the rear of the bikeget someone to raise/lower the swingarm and see if you can spot where the play is

Usual one is bearing which connects triple link to frame.
