Default Indicator voltage

Bought some LED indicicators off the bay of evil. Set of 4 with resistor looms as well.

Now my rear indies already have resistors in line somewhere, as I have LED ones on there currently (one's snapped the stalk) but flash evenly.

Fronts have always had normal bulbs in.

So, wired it all up, went to test, and nothing.

Got the multi meter out and these are the results:

Meter on just wires from the bike - goes between |1v to |5.2v steadily.

Meter on resistor loom 1 - zero voltage on the end that connects to the indicator, but same voltage as above on the other end connecting to the bike.

Meter on resistor loom 2 - same voltage as above both ends

Meter on resistor loom 2 with indicator connected - can see the voltage, but no light.

Meter on indicator wired straight to bike - again, can see the voltage, but no light.

Tried all 4 indicators - same result.

Back LED indicator now flashes rapidly, guessing due to no indicator connected at the front.

SO:

1 resistor loom seems dead as zero voltage passing through.
But all 4 indicators faulty?

Is that the right kind of voltage?

I was losing sunlight so I didnt have time to test this anymore.

Tips please.
