Default Advanced Warning!

Hello fellow Anglians!

As you may be aware I have been one of more active GM members, helping to revive that little corner of the forum and turn it into the most active!

Well I'm leaving the Army in the next few weeks and returning to Norfolk, so advanced warning! Be prepared to put some serious miles on your bikes!
None of this "that's too far to ride to a meet" nonsense! I will ride anywhere, so meets and rideouts will, I repeat WILL be becoming more regular and larger!
A couple of hundred miles on a weekend is good for the soul, and it's well known that I would crawl through broken glass to get to a meet, so riding a few miles solo shouldn't be a drama for the rest of you!

So brace yourselves!

I will be organising rides as soon as I hit the ground in Norfolk!

Keep it shiny side up, Nathan.

We'll need to sort the riders from the posters and see who's where, then work out the most central point for meets (or the closest place to the one who whines the most)!

Where will you be moving to?
Redlodge is about as central as it gets for us mortal EAR members (all 5 of us) and unless we get together before Christmas in Southwold the next ride will probably be the March Meet Run. It would be good to get some social miles on the bike.

Welcome to the EAR Thunderace!!
Im not at all adverse to hundreds of miles in a weekend (even though they are getting slower and slower!!) so if you can arrange childcare and someone to cover me at work then count me in

Welcome back to Norfolk

With an expanding family I have plenty of things to keep me away from biking but I will try and do better next year...!

Social miles is what it's all about! Your bike is a toy not a tool! Save commuting for the cage!

Southwold sounds like a plan, although I don't have exact dates for when I'll be back yet but should be before christmas.

I will be moving to the Thetford area, anyone close by?

Cheers for the warm welcome folks!

Cool.
Close for the EAR is anything you can get to within a day, so yes, several are near. And Snetterton is just up the road EAR track day?
And my cage is a V8 Landrover so the bike wins almost every time to save the wallet.
