Ive just aquired a crash damaged curvy for a very very reasonable price.... going to be broken in the new year (no PMs yet please) but want to steal a few things off it if i can for myself first...
What of the following is transferable between the curvy and pointy? Front calipers/discs Rear brake switch LH switchgear (i know it will have the choke assembly... can i simply not use it?) Ill add to this as an when i can think of things i need ![]() |

front callipers, clutch lever/perch, brake lever/MC, rear MC, rear brake switch.
but anything from a curvy onto a pointy is not a good idea as the pointy might get a STD. |

Front Brakes, and master cylinder
Clutch perch I'm Sure one of the wheels can have the bearing swapped to suit Rear M/C Horn Aftermarket Endcans use the same 52mm outlet with a different linkpipe If you've banana'd the front end, keep the wheel, forks and mudguard together (k3 and 4 only! as they share the same pulse speedo) Engines can be used with a bit of setting up Your best bet is to get the bugger to bits, bag up the parts and start selling.

This is the plan... however i just want to know what i can steal for my pointy before i start to do so to save me buying any duplicates as some of the bits on the curvy (like the discs) are cosmetically better than my pointy, and my calipers are all shot to bits!

Rebuild the Curvy frame with the pointy parts, engine, plastics, the whole lot and sell what you have left over. Curvys with pointy parts look lovely.
