Hi all
Quick question, I've got a suspected warped clutch cover (K1 Curvy) and cannae be sacked to drain all the oil to look. With the bike on its side stand it's leaning away from the RHS clutch cover, so is it possible to remove the clutch cover and have a look at the state of it without draining all the oil first? Or am I going to get my garage floor very oily? Cheers Dan |

Should be fine. I changed my clutch cover with the bike on the sidestand and without draing the oil.
Stick one of these on instead of the crappy plastic thing. No more leaks since I put one on my curvy, and they look luvverly too! |

Had the same on my '99 curvy. Was fine doing this on the side stand though kept a tray under for catching drips.
Mine was quite warped but an over-thick o-ring (5mm nitrile rubber off ebay) sorted the leak. |

They are, but they're a world away from the ****e plastic Suzuki thing in terms of quality. They look good too.
And they don't leak.... |

Doing it on the sidestand will be fine you may get a few drops as some oil will sit in the cover.
Get a new OEM seal when you replace what ever you fit. I recermend one of these ![]() ![]()
