Default Optiglanz cleaner.

Morning !

I have just purchased some Optiglanz Stainless Steel cleaner for my downpipe etc after seeing some results on the web, wow this stuff really looks like it makes a difference !

My question is, has anybody ever used it on their can ? I still have the original can and defo dont want to ruin the finish so was after some advice if anybody has done it ?

Cheers
Gav

It won't damage the can but, at the cost of the stuff, it's maybe a bit extravagant. Unless your can is really bad, a regular polish will do the job and go alot further. Far kinder to your wallet.

Only use that Optiglanz stuff on stainless steel. I would echo puny's comment about paint. It will also discolour chrome if left on too long. Avoid getting it on your skin and definitely don't spray it in your eyes. It stings. Alot.

I've used it and found I had to use something to protect the stainless steel afterwards or it would tarnish quickly.

Cheers for the replys:

@Super - what did you use to protect the SS after ? and you mean it tarnished quicker than it would do normally ?

Cheers

It's excellent stuff, dizzy blonde recommended it to me for the raptors exhaust as I'm rather lazy with cleaning!

Not sure if I just got dodgy ones but neither of the bottles spray very well if at all, I ended up decanting it all into another spray bottle.
