Default Fuel Exhaust finally fitted !

So having recovered from a back strain and awaiting the thaw, I finally got round to fitting the Fuel 450mm SS Oval I bought off Brad W.

To be on the safe side I cut the original 60mm back from the weld as advised by Kenzie, just as well I did, I also found I just cleared the honeycomb assy inside which I assume to be the catalytic ??? (mines an SK9).

BTW, cutting the original is a joyous experience......
Having found that there was very little room for any of my hacksaw frames, I resorted to cutting it with a blade in my bare hand while humming Coldplay's "Nobody Said It Was Easy" whilst dreaming of an angle grinder/dremmel/reciprocating saw/oxy acetylene......

Anyway it's now fitted, it looks good, sounds great, and the my daughter has found the baffle to be extremely useful for cutting out discs of play-doh.

is it much louder than stock at low revs? I'm looking for something in the summer, needs to be quiet at low revs for my early starts.

Not too loud, but definitely more of an audible burble without the baffle fitted at tick over, compared to the Singer sewing machine stock sound.
As my wife always struggles to get my son out of bed for school in the morning, I'm looking upon it as a positive benefit

I did briefly try it with the baffle fitted in the name of science, and it is a lot quieter, so you have this option if your neighbours are a little sensitive.

The Fuel end can is about half the weight of the stock item removed so your also decreasing your carbon footprint
