Talking Just went on my first ride!

So i have owned the bike for like 5 months or so but never had the licence, anyway passed the test 2 weeks ago and haven't had the money to get me on the bike. So sold my old bike and got insurance yesterday but still needs a front Tyre (long winded i know). So i was getting pretty edgy by now. So as today was a nice day i went for a cheeky little ride even though the bike was REALLY twitchy because of the front Tyre and i hadn't asked my dad if the bike was ready!

Anyway to the point, HOLY ****, Sv650's are AWESOME. Mines restricted to 33BHP but WOW!!! ( I have only ridden a 50cc before this but who cares )
I can honestly say that is the most fun i have had in 5 mins of riding ever!

Cant wait for the weekend so the bikes ready!

Congrat mate. It is awesome. You'll have plenty more exhilarating moments to come! The trick is to make sure it's not so exhilarating that you wrap yourself round a lamppost.

They are great a I remember my first blast(it was only a few months back) I give it some on a a road couldn't believe the difference from a 125 to the 650 being 33bhp as well.

don't go too hard initially on a new front tyre! YOU MUST TAKE IT EASY ON NEW TYRES!

I know the mold release on the tyre is still there so for the first 50 odd miles i need to take it easy just to ease the tyre in.

Plus you need to get used to the difference in grip and handling.
