So i have owned the bike for like 5 months or so but never had the licence, anyway passed the test 2 weeks ago and haven't had the money to get me on the bike. So sold my old bike and got insurance yesterday but still needs a front Tyre (long winded i know). So i was getting pretty edgy by now. So as today was a nice day i went for a cheeky little ride even though the bike was REALLY twitchy because of the front Tyre and i hadn't asked my dad if the bike was ready!
Anyway to the point, HOLY ****, Sv650's are AWESOME. Mines restricted to 33BHP but WOW!!! ( I have only ridden a 50cc before this but who cares ) I can honestly say that is the most fun i have had in 5 mins of riding ever! Cant wait for the weekend so the bikes ready! don't go too hard initially on a new front tyre! YOU MUST TAKE IT EASY ON NEW TYRES!

I know the mold release on the tyre is still there so for the first 50 odd miles i need to take it easy just to ease the tyre in.

Plus you need to get used to the difference in grip and handling.
