Pope fired by God!
OK OK, he resigned, but that isn't nearly as fun to think of.
Why is the pope chosen by peers and not the people he represents? Pope idol could make them LOADS of cash, admittedly they don't need it but since when has that stopped them? Any sensible thoughts/discussion? I got nothin' as evidenced by this post but thought I'd get the ball rolling. |

I thought this was the only "job for life" left really. Would resigning not be a bit of a slap in the face for God?
Technically, He's been dumped. Pope Benedict may face His firey wrath. |
