Default Side stand length?

Hi guys, can someone measure/source the length of the original stand? The bike was lowered by the previous owner and I don't want it leaning over that far,

Cheers in advance,
Sam

Err... What bike do you have? I suspect this would help.

Surely if the bike was lowered and the stand not it would sit almost upright when the stand was down? What sort of angle does the bike sit at now? Do you mean you've put the bike back to standard and you're worried the stand is now too short? Also need to consider if the stop was altered to change the stand angle to suite a lowered bike - it may not have been shortened...

I assume you mean pointy or curvy, as it is the SV FORUM... It's a pointy... And yes, I put the height back up and the stands too short, leans about 50' over

You posted in the general bike section, which is why Sid asked. Would have been different if posting in the SV tweeking section.

I was under the same impression as Trev. I have a bike folk jack up purely to allow the stand to lean further than an upright and stupid position.

Could be anything - you didn't say.

It was in the SV section, but then no-one other than the OP knows what bike it is - which is why it's now here.

Personally I don't like guessing what bike it might be, a fair number of non SV queries get posted in the SV section, hence my asking what bike - a piece of information I would have thought prudent to include when asking such a question.

Sorry for any confusion. I assume none of you know, thanks anyway.

If anyone can help, I'll start again, I have a k6 Sv pointy. It was lowered by the first owner and I had it raised to stock again the other day (along with new tyres). As the stand was chopped when lowered, it now sits over to the left at a 50' angle. I would like to know the original length just out if intrest tbh, and it would also help me get it sorted.

Maybe I'm being a bit silly, but wouldn't the best bet be to buy one off of a similar vintage bike that had not been lowered? I think there are one or two people breaking bikes in the for sale section here. That is got to be easier than trying to re-extend a shortened side stand and you can probably sell your pre-shortened one for much the same price.

That's my second option, my first would be welding it (I'm a welder) but I need to know how much to add, and havnt had the chance to size anything up

Plus the racers amongst us don't need the side stand!
