Hi all, as some of you know I do some work in the BSB but I've been offered a job for the Manx running a SV650 with Tom Weeden (125GP TTC) and really looking forward to getting out there and helping.
What are the conditions like (showers, tolilets) for racers, and team. Used to the BSB now with where everything is and how to get around. Getting time sheets, scruteneering, distance from pits to paddock. I've got 101 other questions but these are the important ones for now. Any help arriciated, |

Hello,
We have done the Manx 2011 & 2012. Back again this year. The toilets and showers are good. They have contract cleaners that keep them clean all the time. We have been lucky to be on the tarmac paddock but if you end in the grassed ares it can get boggy and muddy, but they do supply boards. It is a fairly big paddock and it is a long push up the hill to scrutineering and the pits. There is a big supermarket just outside the paddock which gives riders a discount. Normally a bar and food vendors at the top of the paddock. All the race officials have always been friendly and helpfull. It is suprising how busy you will be running just one bike but it is a tremendous atmosphere and experiance. When the helicopters fire up the main fun begins! Hope this helps Mr Messy |

As I'm a bit lazy thought I'd have a quick look at faires. Well flight from London city 10 minutes away from home £138 return Friday 23rd to Sunday 1st from Gatwick £90 same dates, then using steam packet for the ferry thoguht might be a laugh well whos laughing, return same dates £98. Then I'd have to get train to Liverpool another £40 as a guess. So from London city or Gatwick.
