Default Mirrors with Indicators?

I bought my Curvy with faired-in indicators fitted, but I don't think it's visible enough.

I'm looking at this on eBay and was wondering if anyone has fitted one before.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motorcyce-...item43b949a767

Are they easy to fit?

I'm hoping they would be a bonus when it comes to MOT time as I'm not convinced my local MOT garage would give it a pass with the current indicators.....they already told me my exhaust won't pass if I did the MOT at theirs

Cheers,
Ayo

Funnily enough I was looking at these myself yesterday. I think they're pretty straightforward, just wire them into the existing indicator wiring. I had to decide against them as I need my mirrors to be able to fold to allow access through a gate. The seller seemed very helpful though so I'm sure he can let you know more about fitting, etc.

Yeah, I just spoke to the seller and he said they can fold a little but it's not advisable to keep folding everyday because the tiny wires inside may break.

I'm in a similar situation as I need to fold the mirrors a little to get out of my garden.

I think they look quite nice and serve a good purpose........I'm seriously considering it.

IMHO I think unless fitted as standard some mirrors with indicators are a bit tacky.

I was considering them as I want to replace the existing front indicators with some flush mount ones to hide a crack in the fairing around the indicator hole. I thought they may help with visibility with flush mounted side indicators. I wonder if GSXR indicator mirrors would fit, and if they fold?

Have found these ones on fleabay which seem to fold, but the 'carbon' effect is maybe a bit naff: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Carbon...item5d3c450f4e

I had those on my curvy for a little while and yes they're easy to fit. Only problem I had with them was that they vibrated a little too much for my liking.

"A bit naff" would be an understatement . Could always paint them though.
