Default Where can I get used spares?

Hi guys I'm desperately after some napoleon blue rear seat cowl infill bits, I've had a post in the wanted section for a few days with no avail. Where else can I look?

Thanks

For curvy or pointy? The infills are fairly difficult to come by.

However there's a thread on here somewhere that shows you how to make the, with body filler. I did it last year and it came out good I think. Just sand to get a smooth finish on the edge and spray them whatever colour. (I chose black. Thought it would look better than trying to attempt to get a colour match.

Hope this helps

Was just looking for that haha.

Yeah it was that one. Shame about the pictures.

Its easy enough anyway. Make around and in the hole and on seat cowl. Get the screw and grease it up abit, then put it in the hole a little. Then fill up around it and level with cowl and panels. Wait for it to dry, add more if needed or sand down and shape a little if needed. I found a dremel was good for finishing. Then paint desired colour.

Only a quick guide as im at work, but ill take some puctures of mine later if you like? See what you think?

Its easy enough once you get into it .

Hope this helps

I only recently deleted those. I cant find them. I cant describe the process, took another pic of it finished.

The process.

Cover the infill gap with brown parcel tape so the filler doesnt stick to the plastic. Then get a bolt that fits the thread of the hole the grab bar is screwed too. Thread several nuts onto that bolt, then screw it in just hand tight. Mixer some filler, make sure theres enough harder in, there is no maximum amount it just sets quicker. Build it up in a few layers rather than all at once to make it easier, use a wet finger to smoother and contour the edge roughly. When its set, gently undo the bolt, the nuts have now set into the filler, sand with coarse then fine paper. Reinsert them and add bit more filler where needed, sand again.

Pic of the thing nearly finished, i used matt paint as i had nothing else. Never got round to repainting. Better than paying £40 or whatever someone was charging. Be interested to see yours if you have a go.
