Engine removed from a early model SV650SY 1999 V Registration Suzuki SV650, the engine has approx 32,500 miles on it, the mileage at point of last MOT done in 2006 was 32,433. The bike was take off the road at some point during 2006.

I have not run this engine, it turns over manually, but I have never run it up so cannot guarantee the quality or condition of the engine and it is offered without a warranty of any kind. It came to me in a stash of spares which I acquired in 2011 and has sat in my garage ever since. I also have the matching frame for the engine if anyone wishes to make a go of putting a bike together which was my original intention.

The engine has quite a lot of paint flaking off in keeping with the age of the engine/bike and could do with a good clean and paint. I have kept the inlets covered to stop dirt falling into the engine The front cam cover needs replacing as I swapped this with my other bike. The cover has a crack and leak oil if the engine is tipped forward, don't ask how I know this!

Due to the shear weight of the engine I am offering it as collection only.
