Default electrics are dead

ok well tried to start my bike.. usuall clicking noice from the started when the battery is dead. charged it up turned it on started fine little bit hesitant though.

so i turned it back off and on and then it tried to start normally then all the electrics died

i checked the fuses and they are fine well the 2 main ones that is...

anyone else had this problem what was it?

took it all apart checked all the connections and put it back togethr because they looked fine.. and then it started? what could it have been ? any ideas

Sounds like either a loose connection, corrosion on terminal or moisture. Is it kept outside?

Yeah I think it may be moisture a few of the connections looked as thou they were getting moist

Ignition switch connector to the loom:



If it gets water in it, then connectors can corrode, become resistive and intermittent ,dumping power (heat) until failing open circuit.

Lift the tank, take top off airbox, loosen the two clamps holding bottom of airbox to the throttle bodies, lift and push bottom of airbox back and you should be able to get to the green connector. Open and inspect.
