Default Sv650 chain replacement.

http://www.pinkmotors.hu/did/arlista...o_szerszam.pdf

Great tutorial btw. And i hacksawed the old one off without having to use a grinder, was a doddle.

Chain is this..

Having some issues flaring the pinhead, tool bought off ebay now looks like this after attempting to flare...

I take it coz it's a cheap tool? It looks like the coned area that it supposed to flare failed due to being cheese soft.

The plate went on no probs btw, im not entirely sure the ends are flanged enough.

I didn't go out on it today as i feel it isn't fully done, i made sure the tool was aligned & tightened it like heck. The links aren't tight so ok so far. My feeling is cheap tool failed (or the wrong tool was used as the pdf may suggest for the chain type).

I don't wether to buy another flange pin for the tool or ride it down to the local garage & get them to do it (this is the last thing i want to do as i want to get this done myself and it means a bit of f*nnying around to put it in on wednesday) or if some kind soul in my area has the right tool to crimp it because that's all it needs now.
