![]() Complete GSXR / USD front end kit to fit SV650S mk 1 99-02 *GSXR 750 USD LH & RH forks *GSXR 750 upper and lower triple clamps *GSXR750 left and right handlebars *sv650 headstock bearing conversion kit *Hayabusa front wheel & discs with a very good Michelin pilot sport tyre. * fitted rare earth magnets, and the required speedo sensor *TL1000S front fender and an extender. Good points : all the parts you need to swap out your entire sv650 front end, you will just need a pair of brake calipers The Top yoke has been drilled to accept bar clamp risers ( easily hidden with top yoke cover ) I found the bike rode better with gsxr clip on bars ( included ) Bad points: The RH fork leg casting is cracked at one of the clamp bolts grazed on the top adjuster and also is weeping fork oil from the seal. I bought another RH GSXR fork leg ( bent stantion ) see pics, intending to swap the clamp and adjuster when I changed the fork seal, but never got around to doing the job , but its not hard on these forks it all undoes from the bottom. this spare RH fork is included so you can swap the parts out when you replace the fork seals and fill with fresh oil ready to fit to your SV. The TLS fender has some damage to mount points but still sturdy. £450 or best offer. collection only , berkshire |

as for calipers, i ran six pot tokicos in this setup.
I have them up on Ebay at the moment If i was doing it again i would probably go for four pots as easier to keep in shape in english climate and four pots seem to work fine on something this light. One thing i noticed swapping out SV650 bottom yoke, stock item weighs an absolute ton compared to alloy gsxr750 item so a fair weight saving to be had by doing the swap. gsxr USD front really makes a big difference to the ride of the sv much more stable , especially when matched with a decent rear shock Last edited by sicknote; 16-05-13 at 05:39 PM. |
