Default Rear wheel bearings and spacer damaged?

had the back wheel off today first time since I got bike , sv650s 1999 curvy , looked at bearings , on side where brake calliper goes the bearings are lose in a wire snake metal wire thing , with u shape pockets where bearings sit in , looked on ebay and Robinsons at new baring's and they all come sealed , has my wheel got the wrong bearings in it ? also the spacer bar inside wheel seems rough on the end , has something broken off this ? the spindle main bar is just a normal bar to me , as ones on internet has a hole in end where a pin goes through it in a castle like nut , which mines just normal nut , if any one out there has the whole spindle with all the spacers I will be happy to buy them if mine isn't wright , thanks for any help here , been using the bike for some time with no problems , but want it right , any help much appreciated

Some markets have a regulation for a split pin or clip through the wheel spindle, but ours does not - no need to change. However, as you will have noticed the nut has a locking device that stops it turning freely - like a Nyloc nut, only metal - if yours is worn and the nut spins easily on the spindle, it's not expensive to replace.
Not all original bearings are sealed - sounds like yours are the originals.
If the wiggly bit of metal, (it's called a 'cage'), is loose, the bearing is not long for this world.
Which piece is rough at the end? Not sure what bit you're describing. Picture perhaps?

hi again , the bit that's rough on the end is a wee tube inside the wheel , think the spindle bolt goes through it its behind the bearings inside the wheel , if that helps , if not will try and get a pic up when I take wheel off again , so I should go and replace the bearings , with the ones inside a metal casing , I know the one on chain side is in the casing ,
