Do you need to repace your Street Triple indicator? - SV650.org

A while back, I found that the wonderful designers at Triumph thought it would be a good idea to design a bike you had to take the tank off to get to the indicator wiring.

Well after my mishap the other weekend, I was in the market for some OEM indicators. I happened to call in on a certain forum friend who has sorted me some recalled stalks that 'may go at somepoint' for the best price.

After a bit of head scratching, turns out the reflector unit can be removed and the wiring simply unclips from the back, then the inicator can be slid off without having to uncouple under the tank. What's better, is you ar lucky enough to have suitable bits and you can get hold of the stalks, once the reflector is removed. The head and stem can be separated so replace waht you need to.

Ahhhrrg modern triumphs have some bloody disasters of simple jobs made difficult.
