Been riding for 2 years now and looking to get a new bike. I'd like a 'do everything' bike, something that's fun but practical. I think they look awesome too (subjective, I know). There doesn't seem to be much online about them.
Anyone have one of these? If so, how are you finding it? |

For a practical "do everything" bike, I'd suggest the SV650...

I had the hornet the CBR is based on and it was a canny bike. Lethal brakes with ABS. The rear pedal works like car brakes as it's linked. The motor has a lot of go but is very linear with no real punch, however you can make very swift progress its just slightly dull. The exhaust is a pain too as it's very restrictive. On the hornet forums lads were getting almost another 10hp from ditching the system for a straight through one with a power commander. I bought all the gear to do this then changed my mind and sold it all and traded the bike in. Just don't like 4's much and feel more at home on a twin. If I was choosing between a faired SV and a CBR for the road i'd get the SV and with the money saved sort the boingy bits, way more fun, imo.
