Default Taking a pillion - advice?

So takin the Mrs for her first go today.

She is about a stone or two heavier than me.

Any advice gents?

it's all very simple, one bit of pre-ride advice is all you need.

Knees : explain they need to squeeze the outside of the riders thighs with the inside of their knees, that's it, they can put their hands where they like (grab rail/ tank/around the ride), up to them, but as long as they grip with their knees they will have to lean when the rider does, brace when the rider either accelerates or brakes and won't move, easy. My wife used to stick her hands in my jacket pocket, squeeze with her knees and go to sleep....

Advice for you: with 2-up everything will take longer, accelleration, braking, turning in etc. Make sure you take it really easy and have a signal for your pillion if she thinks its going too fast.
