Default Which battery?

Hi All,

My reg/rec went bad and boiled my battery dry (3rd time, carp Suzuki electrics )

So I've got a choice:
Exide (TheBatteryShop.co.uk) 9.5Ah ???A ColdCrankingCurrent £40
Varta (watchbattery.co.uk) 11Ah 140A ColdCrankingCurrent £52
Yuasa (TheBatteryShop.co.uk) 10Ah 175A ColdCrankingCurrent £57

Will the cheap Exide be sufficient?
If not, do I want the higher capacity/lower current Varta, or the lower capacity/higher current Yuasa?

Does it really make much difference anyway?

Default Which Battery

Have you had a look at the motobatt batteries? I've use them a couple of times and I can't fault them at all.

If you want to see in depth test comparisons between batteries (American site) including Motobatt have a look here.

Many on the Suzuki Owners Club site like Motobatts, but they are expensive.

I have had a Varta, which was brilliant for about 18 months or so and then appears to have lost a cell.

I will be replacing with a Yuasa, but at MDS these are not due back in stock until 19th August and I registered my interest with them to let me know when back in stock a week or so back, which others can do as well. At present they do appear to be the cheapest by far for Yuasa. Luckily I have a cheap spare as a standby.
