Default Oil seeping from front cylinder

My oil has been going down a lot recently and I found that it's seeping from the seals on the front cylinder. I totally cleaned it yesterday and this is from about 120 miles today.

What could cause it to suddenly start leaking like that?

expansion/contraction and nuts working loose. might be a good idea to check the torque on them.

i doubt that a lot of oil is getting out that seal to make a significant difference. oil always looks worse as it spreads all over the place. for to loose a good amount of oil it would have to have a little puddle under the bike.

have you checked the back oil cooler just in case there is a little hole?

So I need to take the head off the check the tightness of the bolts? It's definitely been loosing a fair bit. I've had to top it up every couple of days. It went from full to just above low one day

yup. i doubt that it would loose that much oil from a weep. low to high is about 100+ml is it not.. that's a lot of oil and the bike would be covered in the stuff.

No, you don't need to take the head off, the fixings are inside the cam boxes and you would need to take the cams out to access them, but the heads don't need to come off. Take a good look around the airbox to see if that oil is coming from there before doing anything further. That amount of visible oil doesn't look like it's enough to account for a significant change in level in the time you've mentioned. Clean the engine very thoroughly and go for a ride, stopping frequently to see if the source can be positively identified.
