Default Emulator / Springs - Feedback

Hi guys,

Just wanted to pop a bit of feedback on here with my thoughts to the debrix emulators and springs based on rider weight....

I was looking to tighten up the front end of the SV as the stock forks are super sloppy and living in the French Alps I can't help but want to ride the bike hard around most of the corners.

I bought the debrix emulators and harder springs from yorkie chris. He also welded and drilled the compression rod to work with the emulators correctly and supplied the correct oil weight.

I've never worked on bikes before and it literally took 40 minutes, 2 brews from wheel off to wheel on.

Instantly the forks felt stiffer just pumping them in the garage but I wasn't sure how they'd perform so after a few hundred miles of alpine roads I can say... very bloody good!

Much less brake dive, much more stable around corners allowing me to roll the power on with more confidence.

You get a good amount of feedback from your front wheel without it being too rough (no sore hands)...

Basically bang for buck - epic.

They may not look as snazzy as gsxr forks but they've done exactly what I wanted which was improve the handling of the SV without spending crazy money.

It does show up how pogo'y the rear shock is so I've got a new shock to go on this week..

Have fun!

PS I'm 13stone geared up.

Good write up

The ZX10 shock you sold me is now doing sterling service in my curvy, huge improvement over the soggy standard shock with too many miles on it.
