Default Exhaust repairs?

Lat weekend my pointy went for a slide down the road, (everything involveds fault but mine )

I scuffed my exhaust hanger which I know I can replace but on the bottom end of the silencer I ground through the weld, leaving me a bit of a gash. It's a blue flame evo so it quite expensive to replace. The hole hammers in quite tight, and I'm thinking of repairing it myself then covering it with an r and g protector?

Is this a good idea or a stupid one? I would post a pic but I don't know how too haha!

Cheers!

Default Re: Exhaust repairs?

easy fix mate, pop up to london and I'll give ya a hand

rivet gun and something to go over it.... r&g protector sounds good, as long as it's sealed and not leaking exhaust fumes you'll be fine with what ever you do.
