Morning All
So my better half bought me a new lid for my birthday yesterday which is pinlock ready. I used it for the first time today and it was raining and the visor steams up, these pinlock things are supposed to cure that, are they worth the £20? Cheers |

Visor hasn't steamed up at all since inserting the pinlock. Even in winter

From new I think they are great, I seem to find replacing them I never get the fit just right and they leave a gap which means they fog up...

Oh I like the idea of the hi viz / anti glare ones for raining and night riding, and the ones that tint when the sun comes out but that one is bl00dy expensive!

Ayup, fitted mine to my AGV myself, not had any issues with fogging at all!

ah I just found this which shows how to adjust the tension of the insert, this could be the reason why my replacements did not seal very well...
As I and other have mentioned, highly recommend the pinlock inserts. as for are they worth £20 - YES being able to see, and not having to clearing the inside with your glove, potentially scratching the visor... i would not use a visor without it now. |
