Default Panniers

I am over in Toronto at present (getting to know our new grand-daughter).
The house nearby is getting some work done on it and one of the crew drives a DL650 and the panniers are metal ammo boxes with all the lettering describing calibre and explosive tips.
I will try to get a photo and post when I get back.
It is certainly different to normal panniers.

Yeah it's common thing for adventure bike riders, I've seen pics of quite a few people's bikes.

Ammo boxes are quite cheap to buy, but most of the ones available over here are quite small.

I've done a couple of sets, if you get the 40mm grenade ones they are deeper, heavy mind, but very tuff, have to fabricate your own mounts obviously.

Cheers Mark

I have a random tank shell ammo box in my attic which I found when I moved in (unfortunately no shells inside - boo!). Maybe I can fabricate some sort of top box of death out of it.

I'd have thought riding around with those might lead you to being stopped, arrested etc on terror offences! That's not a suggestion to the degenerates or sexual deviants...
