Default Bank Holidays

Every man woman dog and kids must be out and about today----manic traffic, even in normally quiet country lanes so I cut my ride short and come home. Ggrrrr

ditto, finished off a service and afternoon down the pub, I'll wait for them all to go back to work tomorrow for a nice peaceful ride.....

Got called into work first thing this morning, so couldn't get out. The traffic on the A1 said it all today

Normal working day for me. But the site at where I have an office is closed. So no choice, work from home. and watch the fools queue on the motorway in the distance.

Drove home from Pompey this morning after working away this weekend, before the roads got too mad.

But it was starting to stack up with people heading for the beach.

Try getting a hotel room over the weekend, next to impossible

I tend to avoid major roads on the weekend, and especially on a BH. B roads are more fun, interesting and adventurous way to travel on the bike!

The Sunday was OK after a wet start. Bit of field wash out.
Stopped of at the café on theDover court sea front.
4 hr's 135 miles .
Today sold the bonfire wood and helped the guy load his car.(still a load to go).
So a productive Monday

Bank holiday next weekend here.
Counting the days! 850 mile bike trip.

Somewhere new always makes it better!
Has been a while, there's not too many good places to ride within 1000 miles or so where I've not been already.

First time out with the sat nav fitted as well!
Bike all prepped and ready.
Awaiting Saturday dawn!
Hopefully reach the mountains before the traffic gets out the roads along the way.

Can't Wait!!!

A few of us went out in BH mindset for a short ride around quieter roads and had a lot of fun. You definitely need to be in the overtake at every opportunity mindset though! Wouldn't want to ride like that every day.
