Been a while, new 4 door 4 wheeler... - SV650.org

Haven't been on here for a while as still to drag the SV out of hibernation, since just (well almost 2 months ago) buying a house. But in the meantime I've bought a more practical 4 wheeled device to go alongside the VW T4 for more civilised long distance journeys.

My new sensible 4 door saloon, I must be getting old... :

Luckily the V8 is supercharged

What's that do round the doors then? My old beemer v8 managed 17mpg. I reckon that'll be nearer 13

Always like that shape, they go well too apparently, I bet you could get that down to single mpg figures with a heavy right foot.

It's not too bad on fuel on a long run, which is a good job as I'm driving to Slovakia in it for a week's holiday!

Coming back via the Ring, although the car's insurance excludes it so it won't be going round

, more of a social trip, but may hire a rental for a couple of laps if I arrive in time.
