I have bee looking around for a new Schuberth and the best price I can find is in excess of £480. As an alternative I went into BMW and they have the C6 for £315.
Does anybody have a C6 and is it quiet, also how much different are they from the similar Schuberth? £165 is a lot of money for what seems very very similar lids. Thanks Last edited by Dicky Ticker; 14-08-13 at 05:18 PM. |

Regarding price of the BMW System 6 £315:99 from BMW with 24 month guarantee.
Selling off this model at the reduced price due to it being replaced by System 6 EVO which is nearly£500 so any stock they have will go quickly-----big price drop on the original price. BMW riders must be rich looking at the other stuff in the shop. |

I use system 6 at work. I find it quite noisy at speed, a bit snug but has a very good internal visor.
Wouldn't buy one with my own money!!

All helmets vary from rider to rider depending on type of screen on the bike/naked and riders seating position. It is all to do with the airflow over and around the helmet. My old BMW helmet is great with a touring screen but my AGV is better if I have the normal screen on the Sprint
Being perfectly honest budget has a lot to do with the latest choice and if the worst comes to the worst I can still use earplugs Helmet manufacturers are constantly modifying ,hopefully for the better, but a lot is down to individual preference |

I might have been a tad harsh. I have a Shoei head and always have had them privately. Work its a choice between a naff Caberg which I wouldn't let my dog wear or the system 6 which in comparison is an amazing lid.
Hope with your setup it will do you well.
