Hi everyone I've bought a sv650 k9 which seems to have a battery draining problem after riding for a while when you turn the engine off it will not restart, the battery is dead.
Had the battery checked and it was fine so contacted the previous owner and he said he sold the bike on after spending lots of money on it, two rectifiers and a new battery,so if anyone out there has any ideas I would be greatfull . Cheers Steve |

Sounds like a possible bad connection on one of the high current battery cables (including ground cable). It's quite possible for these to become intermittent and go high resistance when they have warmed up.
