Default Looking for a Longer Link-pipe

I'm trying to source a longer link-pipe for my Yoshimura slip-on. I'm really looking to get to the same height as an M4 Race mount, but I don't want to buy a whole new can to do it. I asked Blair at SVracing parts if I can use the M4 link-pipe with the Yoshi can, and was told they are incompatible.

Does anyone know a custom exhaust shop that can make a good, quality link pipe that will meet my needs?

What diameter are you looking at?

I'm not looking for anything special, just the ability to mount it higher. So I guess a standard size would do. I haven't taken any measurements yet as I figured sourcing a supplier would need to come first.

Try beowulf, probably a custom job. My M4 is a bigger dia than stock.

I'm sure the Yoshi link-pipe I have is a larger diameter as well, but it clamps on the cut end of the stock pipe just fine. Are you saying that the clamp end of your M4 is larger than that? The joint between the can and link-pipe is what I expect to be the tricky part. I'm still looking for a custom shop to talk to.

Hmm, Zorstec is practically down the road from me. I guess it's time to get those measurments and make a phone call/visit. YC, what style mount do you have for your M4?

Standard low level one but I've got some trumpet rear pegs on mine so it's rolled upwards a bit... but it's the full system so all bets probably off compared to stock one and slipon.

I'm only asking because I'm curious what the actual measurements and such are for the front of the can. That, and it was a wild shot that I could get race mount specs to go off of.

Anyway, I got my measurements. At the front of the can, the attached Sleeve OD is ~59mm. The upper end of the link pipe has an OD of ~56.2mm. From the outside, it looks like the link pipe is inserted ~34.3mm deep. And the sleeve is ~59mm from the end to the shoulder of the can. Distance between spring tabs is 61.5mm.

Edit: I wonder if the upper end of the link pipe is shouldered as it enters the sleeve on the can.
