More windscreen woes
Did the old duck-behind-the-steering-wheel thing this morning as an unseen stealth stone whacked into my front screen in the 7am darkness on a dual carriageway. Thought I had gotten away with it but then spotted the tiny star-shaped dent at eye level on the very edge of the screen. Not to worry, thinks I, will get that sor...... oh fudge. As I watched it grew and grew. It's now 20cm long but I have to get the 10 miles home again yet, and commute in/out on Thursday before it gets replaced on Friday morning.
Thankfully fully comp so £70 and a simple phone call to arrange but what a pain. Just hope they really do allow for the stupid lane departure camera thing my car had on it when I bought it like they promised. And the built-in heating elements...
